School Gardens

We believe it is important for all children to be aware of the importance of healthy soil, to have a better understanding of natural systems and to know where food comes from. We're working with schools and educators to ensure more primary schools have a school garden and access to great teaching resources to help educate our kids.

Our Chairman has passionately advocated the need for a cohesive and nationally applied school garden policy such that our young people can be taught about the science underlying things such as soil biology, photosynthesis, transpiration and the fundamental role that green cover can play in reducing carbon emissions.
